Repurposing what once was for our local community.

In May 2021 Woodies at the Barn Opened its Doors

The 200-year-old original oak beams remain a feature inside, as does the stone and brick work on the walls. A complete new roof has been fitted, a new sub floor, and oak posts outside. Original concrete tiles have been replaced with a new slate roof, and the bar front that you see today came out of the old pub that was on site.

After coming up with various options, a wine bar, offering locally sourced food, seemed like the best addition to Netley. We are situated next to the country park, close to the waterfront, and close to Netley abbey and the local church, which will make it an ideal venue for weddings and events. Our main goal has been to create a friendly atmosphere within the space provided that caters to the locals and surrounding areas.

In November 2023 we Opened the Doors of our Second Site, Woodies at The Junction.

Traditional community drinking establishment since 1876 has been given a modern contemporary renovation, Whilst keeping its listed bar & fireplaces, all original wooden flooring was kept, re varnished and repaired where needed to give it the look it deserves.
